Wynton Marsalis Paramount Theatre - Seattle Concert reviews
Well done and a little disappointing
The group of musicians, led by Wynton Marsalis, did an exceptional job recreating songs from albums that must have been challenging to reproduce. All the well-known songs were included in the great song selection. I did not appreciate the use of some songs to resist or insult President Trump; I don't think a rock show is the right place for such displays. The songs were written when the current president was not known, and I don't believe it's fair to criticize someone just because you disagree with them and have a microphone. Most of the audience did not pay for or expect that.
